Radenko Milak | A Masterpiece Now Available | Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg “Tell Me Where Home Is”, September 19, 2026 – January 17, 2027
| A MASTERPIECE BY RADENKO MILAK — NOW AVAILABLE |
| We are pleased to announce a rare opportunity to acquire Neighbours, 2022, an exceptional large-scale watercolor and a major work by Radenko Milak now available for acquisition. Architecture occupies an important place within Milak’s practice. Far beyond the representation of buildings, his architectural works explore the spaces in which individual and collective life intersect, the threshold between private and public, intimacy and sociality, proximity and isolation. In Neighbours, the illuminated façade becomes a cross-section of contemporary urban life. Individual figures appear behind windows and curtains, inhabiting separate interiors within the same architectural structure. They are physically close, yet remain isolated from one another, neighbours sharing a building and a city while experiencing their lives in parallel. At a monumental 200 × 135 cm, the work transforms an apparently everyday scene into a powerful reflection on contemporary existence. Windows become frames within the image, offering glimpses into private lives while simultaneously establishing boundaries between the viewer and those being observed. Architecture becomes both a place of connection and a structure of separation. RADENKO MILAK Neighbours 2022 watercolor on paper 200 × 135 cm Available for acquisition.
