Together, Wiebke Hahn and Ann-Kristin Kreisel curated the exhibition “Deceptive Images. Playing with Painting and Photography”, which was on display at Marta Herford from October 31, 2020 until August 15, 2021. Presenting seven artists, one of them Radenko Milak, the show explored the symbiosis between these two genres today, and examined how they affect each other. Following on from this, the two curator will discuss how Milak’s pictures can unfold different meanings depending on composition and context.
