TEGERNSEE | Art in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Panel Discussion | April 24, Olaf Gulbransson Museum

We are pleased to share Art in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, a panel discussion at the Olaf Gulbransson Museum, Tegernsee, taking place on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 6:30 pm.

The event brings together Anton Biebl, Director of the Bavarian State Painting Collections, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Heckl, former Director General of the Deutsches Museum in Munich, media artist Ornella Fieres, and Karl-Heinz Land, CEO and founder of neuland.ai, and will be moderated by Michael Beck, Chairman of the Olaf Gulbransson Society e.V. Tegernsee.

Ornella Fieres is a media artist whose practice explores how artificial intelligence reshapes our understanding of memory, perception and history. Working with historical images, film and archival material, she reinterprets the past through machine learning and computer vision, questioning how algorithms “see” and reconstruct visual culture. We have been presenting her work since 2021.

Karl-Heinz Land, a leading figure in the European technology sector with over four decades of experience, has played a key role in shaping data-driven business models internationally and is the founder of neuland.ai, a platform enabling companies to integrate artificial intelligence in a responsible and practical way. As an entrepreneur, author and keynote speaker, he advocates for a sustainable and conscious use of AI.

The discussion will explore how AI can function as a tool in art, while raising fundamental questions around authorship, creativity and human agency.
